CIRCUS
This building that dates from 1891 is home to Stockholm´s largest theatre
stage, auditorium and restaurant all in one. Popular musicals, concerts,

DJURGÅRDSLINJEN - THE STOCKHOLM MUSEUM TRAM LINE
The streetcar that leaves from Norrmalmstorg offers the most charming trip to and from Djurgården.
This is also the cheapest way to go, besides being the most fun.

HV is a driving force in the production of textile art and handicrafts of
the finest quality. The school it runs, HV Skola, provides training for textile

JUNIBACKEN
Adventure bubbles over in this fairytale house. The fairytale train will
take you on an indescribable trip through Astrid Lindgren’s wonderful world.

LILJEVALCHS ART MUSEUM
Liljevalchs konsthall, a museum of Swedish and international art, has Stockholm's
most beautiful exhibition environment. Every year it is host to four exhibitions
of contemporary and modern art. Recurring features are the Liljevalchs mid-career
retrospectives as well as the Spring Salon. The museum opened in 1916 and
is owned by the City of Stockholm. Liljevalchs is the Stockholmers' own museum
- one that is equally welcoming to visitors from around the country and abroad.
Blå Porten (The Blue Gate) and its garden, located in conjunction with the
museum, is a favorite destination for restaurant and café-goers. Blå Porten,
with its award-winning cuisine, always houses one of the museum's smaller

PRINS EUGENS WALDERMARSUDDE
When Sweden’s Prince Eugen - an accomplished painter - died, his mansion
was taken into state ownership, and today it is a very popular museum of
art. The grounds surrounding the palace are lavishly land-scaped with flowers

ROSENDALS GARDEN
Rosendal’s Garden is an open garden, where everyone is welcome. Here, you
can enjoy and learn about ecology and the biodynamic cultivation of flowers,
vegetables, and fruit trees; buy plants and pots, organic food, and our own

ROSENDALS PALACE
This castle serves as a unique document of the Empire style in Europe. Built
in 1820 for King Karl XIV Johan, Rosendal was the out-oftown residence to
which the royal family could retreat and enjoy the summer in Djurgården.

(1pm), 14 (2 pm) and 15 (3 pm).

SKANSEN
Skansen – the world’s original openair museum – founded in 1891, offers

THE VASA MUSEUM
The man-of-war Vasa sank on her maiden voyage in 1628. In 1961, after over
three hundred years at the bottom of the sea, she was salvaged. Vasa is the
world’s most well preserved 17th century ship, and Scandinavia’s most popular
museum. Guided tours take place every hour, and a film about Vasa is shown.
